After spending more than a decade as editor of the trade magazine The Gourmet Retailer, I left to build my own career as a writer specializing in food and kitchenware. In 2008, I launched FamilyEats.net, a website dedicated to inspiring families to get back into the kitchen and to prepare healthful foods. We like to say, "Reconnecting with the food we eat and the family we love.

In addition to Family Eats, I continue to freelance, writing, editing and creating creative content for various companies within the specialty food, kitchenware and specialty coffee industries. My work has appeared in numerous trade magazines as well as Saveur and Consumer's Digest. I also blog at www.EdibleTidbits.blogspot.com and am a featured Foodbuzz publisher.

When I'm not writing, I am enjoying food with my husband and four children.
